Craig Knoblock oversees the Information Integration group within ISI’s Intelligent Systems division. An ISI Senior Project Leader, Knoblock leads a team of about 20 researchers, staff and students in developing intelligent techniques for rapid, efficient information integration.

He focuses on constructing distributed, integrated applications from online sources through information extraction, source modeling, record linkage, constraint reasoning and other technologies. He is also developing technologies for geospatial data integration, including registration and alignment of geospatial layers, automatic processing of maps, linking documents to locations, and geospatial data fusion.

Knoblock is a founder and Chief Scientist of Fetch Technologies, a web integration solutions provider, and of Geosemble Technologies, which develops geospatial information solutions. He was awarded his Ph.D. in computer science by Carnegie Mellon University.
