John Granacki directs ISI’s Dynamic and Advanced Systems group, which works in embedded high-performance, grid and other defining-edge computing approaches. He also leads a Technology Thrust in Biomimetic Microelectronics Engineering Research Center for the National Science Foundation, and is ISI’s associate director for the Chevron-funded Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technology.

Granacki has made substantial contributions to the evolution of high performance embedded computing systems, Multi-Processor System-on-Chip Architectures, biologically-inspired computing and other disciplines. Prior to joining ISI in 1988, he worked with Hughes Aircraft Company and RCA. Granacki earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
