Dongho Kim: Wins ISI award for outstanding performance for his efforts in putting on June 9 event.

During the weeks leading up to the demo Kim put in extraordinary effort in managing and maintaining the testbed to support the testbed user community. As a result, the community was able to set up, run, and complete their experiments in time for the scheduled demonstration.

Although the meeting was held at SRI in Arlington, the equipment used for the demonstration was located at ISI headquarters in Marina del Rey. On the day of the demo, Dongho arrived at ISI at 4:30 AM in order to support an 8 AM east coast demo.

"For his extensive support, in the days leading to the demonistration, Dongo Kim is well deserving of ISI's meritorious service award," said ISI executive director Herb Schorr, in announcing the honor, given to ISI staff who perform above and beyond ordinary requirements.
