DDoS Testbed Report,
Prior to the funding of the DETER project, McAfee Research wrote
a report for DARPA describing the objectives and requirements
for a large scale DDoS testbed. This document, "Justification
and Requirements for a National DDoS Defense Technology
Evaluation Facility," was used as a starting point for the
subsequent DETER project proposal.
