"ReAD - Research Analysis and Detection, Automatic Tracking of Research Activities"   Small Research Awards Seminar

Abstract: The goal of ReAD is to build an infrastructure that enables automated detection, tracking, and summarization of research activities by analyzing researchers' homepages and their related websites. The main components of ReAD are: (1) a research activity websites crawler; (2) a research topic taxonomy; (3) a research topic database. In this talk, I will describe the work accomplished so far by Dr. Jeongwon Cha and me in a 4-month study.
