04/08/05: 10:30 AM, webcast
11th Floor Small and Large Conference Rooms
Host: Patrick Pantel, schedule
Abstract: With close to 140 members, the Intelligent Systems Division is one of
the nation's largest and best artificial intelligence research
laboratories. While particularly well known for its research in natural
language processing, machine translation, computer-based and
computer-aided education, and information integration, the division
includes researchers in many other areas. This talk will assess the
state of the division, describe the trends we've seen in it in the past
few years, and give an idea of where we'd like to go.
