The project is to design and implement a Web-based system that lets travellers remotely find out (1) what their options are for getting to their destination from the airport (LAX) and to (2) book the service if possible. The result of the process is a printable Web page that tells travellers what they have booked and instructions for it. We don't expect you to do research on all the transportation possibilities - instead we will provide the data you should use (below). However, having a general undestanding of how airport transportation works helps - here are some Web sites. USE A HOTEL SHUTTLE Must be pre-arranged, by giving your name, room number, and arrival information (airline, flight no, scheduled arrival time and date). 2. USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Can be pre-payed by providing name, mailing address, and credit card information (number,expiration date, name as it appears on card if different). 3. USE A SCHEDULED PRIVATE BUS Can be pre-payed: needs name and credit card information and arrival information. AirportBus, FlyAway Van Nuys 4.
