Hi,

I'll be going to Atlanta on Sat April 1, and coming back to LA on Tue April 4
at 7pm. This gives us 3 full days to work.

We need to work on the following things (at least):
- Transition plans (JK, Noi).
- Options planning
- Model implementation issues.

Regarding the model implementation, Ewald has the modeling language working so
that one can use it with and without CORBA. THe only thing needed is to set a
compilation switch and recompile the whole system. This is a great
accomplishment because developing without CORBA is easier and faster. It also
allows us to give the software away for people who don't have or don't want
CORBA.

One of the things this means is that the models should not rely on CORBA. The
main thing I want to discuss regarding the implementation is the issue of the
implementation of the application and task models. The Mastermind object
system that we implemented supports everything we need (we can extend it so it
does, if there are shortcomings with the current one). It is really important
not to rely on the IDL for the task and presentation models for the
implementation. Ewald is now cleaning up the code, and we should be able to
send it to you on Monday, and discuss it more fully.
