Regarding task modeling and application routine invocation.
I don't have anything against having application tasks that invoke the
application routines. We did consider it, and it is a good way of doing it.
I was suggesting using the effects because it leads to a more compact
representation, but I don't have enough experience with examples to say that
using the effects is definitely a better way of doing things.
I think that the way to resolve this and many other issues that will come up
is to look at examples. I think we are getting close to being able to work on
large examples on-line, and progress will be rapid.
