W. Lewis Johnson  directs the Center for Advanced Research in Technology for Education. His work involves the application of artificial intelligence to education and training.
Erin Shaw  is a Research Computer Scientist at CARTE. Her research focuses on creating pedagogically motivating software, modelling and assessing student knowledge, especially in STEM subjects, and developing advanced technologies for distance learning.
