Research Results: MASS Chips 2 & 3
- Flaps show residual stress curl and heat-dissipation fringes
- Actuator flaps are 0.6-micron Al over 1.45-micron SiO2
- Had difficulty achieving equal displacement for all flaps.
- Flaps were able to lift and transport a Si wafer fragment, but were too few to provide controlled motion.
