The Misión del Sol offers exquisite international cuisine, specially prepared to detoxify and improve the vitality and energy of the body. And for exercise, the swimming pool, tennis courts, and pine and oak woods for outside activity are complemented by a gym for aerobics and weightlifting.

Activities include therapeutic Spa treatments such us massage, wraps, scrubs, hydrotheraphy, facials, Temazcal and other special features like diagnosis with Kirlian camera, Shiatsu Reiki, and Janzu Diciplines for relaxation such as yoga, tai-chi, meditation, and aerobics.

The powerful prehispanic world is present in the Xochicalco pyramids. Visit the magnificent site museum and watch the path of the sunlight from the observatory. Or enjoy an unforgettable dinner aboard the Barco Fiesta, dancing under the stars in Tequesquitengo Lake. Misión del Sol offers short trips to impressive and surprising places. Visit the mystic and enchanting town of Tepoztlán, where you can climb the mountain to see the Tepozteco pyramid and enjoy a breathtaking view, or marvel at the beauty of the XVI Century convent; this is also a good opportunity to learn about alternative medicine and browse through the local arts and crafts shops. You can also visit Taxco, one of the most beautiful colonial towns. Besides being an important silver mining town, it has a marvelous cathedral, Santa Prisca, and a convent. Few places in the world can boast its unique climate.
