The home page contains a picture showing a remarkable example of old and new architecture -- "real" architecture. The picture shows the interior of architect I. M. Pei's entrance pyramid to the Louvre in Paris, France. The original Louvre building appears in the background.

This is not a photograph, but a computer graphic produced by student Sean Barry and rendered by Ben Trumbore, at the Program for Computer Graphics at Cornell University. We are grateful for permission to use this image.
