What would it take to modify NS-2 to actually make it send packets *over* the wire, i.e., simulating node objects on different machines and having them send packets to each other over an actual network. Would this require a radical change in the NS architecture or would it be trivial to extend NS to accomplish this? any input would be helpful. thanks sumit [email protected]
