[ns] Measuring network load

I have to measure network load at a node for a time
interval. I tried to do it by defining a new timer
object and placing it in Queue class. But when I run
it, the scheduler says  "event UID is invalid" ie when
the timer is rescheduled, for some reason its uid is
not right. Why does this happen ? Can a timer be
placed in a Queue, or can it be attatched only to
agent classes, as shown in the manual ?
