[ns] Change in implementation of mobile IP(v6 & 7)

Dear all,
When I runn the example script for mobile IP
(wireless3.tcl) using ns-2.1b6 it does not work and
gives the following error-
uneven number of args
    (Object init line 1)
    invoked from within
"addr2id init 1.0.0"
    (Class create line 1)
    invoked from within
"AddrParams create addr2id 1.0.0"
    ("eval" body line 1)
    invoked from within
"eval [list $self] create [list $m] $args         "
    (procedure "AddrParams" line 5)
    (Class unknown line 5)
    invoked from within
"AddrParams addr2id [$HA node-addr]"
    invoked from within
"set HAaddress [AddrParams addr2id [$HA node-addr]]"
    (file "wireless3.tcl" line 143)

However it works just fine for ns-2.1b7a.What are the
changes that have been made in version 2.1b7a that
make this possible.
And to repeat another question I had asked earlier-is
it true that the implementation of mobile IP does
include the concept of links for communication and not
that of the channel as in ordinary wireless
simulations or has that changed too??
