[ns] queue statistics

Hey all,

I would like to gather statistics of a queue at a node/link.
The stats i'd like to get are :

how full is the buffer at any time / on average ?
how many packets have been dropped

After reading the manual, i think i should use the object queue-monitor but
i dont really understand how to use it :(
Could somebody please tell me how i should use it ?
If available i'd appreciate an example script ;-)
