[ns] ns-2.1b8a release

Hi All,
       This is an announcement for a follow-on release with bug-fixes for
2.1b8 version and will be available with ns-allinone-2.1b8a version only.
The bugs that got fixed in this follow-up release are as follows:

* In ns-allinone, the nam-1.0a10 package had a config.cache file which
creates problem during nam build. This file has been removed.

* In ns-2, there has been several bug fixes (thanks to all those who
reported/fixed the bugs) since the last release:

i.   Base class Scheduler destructor was not defined. This gave problem
     while trying to change the default scheduler type which is now fixed.
ii.  The BayTcp dist had static file pointers that got init'ed everytime
     ns was run. This bug is fixed.
iii. Doing a make install didn't install all ns subdir. This bug is now
     fixed.
1v.  The older version of snoop tcl script (under
     ~ns/tcl/ex/snoop/snoop.tcl) has been replaced by the newer
     (contributed) version.


The ns-allinone-2.1b8a distribution is available (in tar and gzip'ed
form) from http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/ns-build.html. You can also
download it directly from http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/dist/
