[ns] new user of NS, please help

Hi all,

  i am a new user of NS. i want to simulate a simple
wireless cell with a base station and limited number
of access channels.i want to study the arrival rate
and the departure rate of the new and handoff calls in
this simple scenario and i want to simulate the
possible queuing strategies.
   can you please give the information about where and
how to start doing this in the NS.
