[ns] parameters for router performance

Hi,

I tried to model computational costs of a router when it implements a
certain algorithm. The computational costs may reduce throughputs of a
router. How can I control the throughput of a router? Can I do this by
adjusting queue related parameters? What parameters should I set? Thanks.
