[ns] Wired+Wireless Simulation environment
Hi,
I would like to create a scenario with tcp connections split over a wired
network as well as wireless network (having loss characteristics similar
to wireless environments).
Is it possible to simulate the wireless link with an appropriate
loss module that has a high error rate (or other module that simulates
a wireless transmission channel?) Is there a better way of doing this?
I don't really need any adhoc routing protocols such as DSR/AODV to be
running. All I need is that part of the topology have the
loss/delay/congestion characteristics of wired networks, and part of it
(at least one last link) have the characteristics of wireless
transmission.
Thank you,
Gaurav.
