| Abstract | We experimentally demonstrate the effect of negative chirp produced by SOA-MZI DXPM-based wavelength convertor at 40-Gb/s 33%-RZ in a 80-km dispersion-compensated SMF link. >2-dB performance improvement is achieved by adding positive residual dispersion of $+$30ps/nm. |
