Linhong Zhu is currently a Post-doc Researcher at Information Sciences Institute, University of Southern California. Before that, she worked as a scientist-I at Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore from Oct 2010 to Jan 2013. She got her B Eng. Degree in Computer Science from University of Science and Technology of China in 2006 (2002-2006) and received her PhD Degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (2006-2011). Her thesis adviser is A/P Ng Wee keong and Ast/P Byron Choi.
Her research interests focus on (but not limited to):
- Large-scale network analysis (focusing on dynamic interaction network)
- Sentiment analysis and topic analysis
- Spam detection in blogosphere, web and emails
