The APEX Research Group is conducting research in four areas:
- Multi-core software
- Fine-grained computing (e.g. FPGA-based computing)
- High-performance cloud computing
- High-produtivity parallel software
Cross-cutting themes for our research include:
- Adaptive and intelligent management of parallel computing resources
- Fault tolerant computing
- Application mapping, performance analysis, and optimization of parallel applications
- Software tools and libraries for parallel architectures
