The Biomedical Knowledge Engineering Group (BMKEG) was started by Gully Burns in 2006. The group's focus is on a combination of software and infrastructure development and Computer Science (CS) research into Artificial Intelligence specifically to address knowledge-related bioinformatics problems. We consist of bioinformatics and CS researchers, knowledge engineering specialists, and biologists.
