Ben Smith
Biography
Ben Smith received his Ph.D. from the Computer Science department at
the University of Southern
California in December 1995 under the advisement of Prof. Paul Rosenbloom. His
thesis describes a system for integrating knowledge into induction in
order to increase the accuracy of the induced hypothesis.
Dr. Smith received his M.S. in computer science from USC in 1990 and his
B.S. from the University of the Pacific
in 1988.
He is currently working on the
NewMAAP
autonomous spacecraft commanding project at
JPL.
