    Please confirm your availability for the time slot indicated. You will be required to configure your demo within about 5 minutes (while the prior group is finishing up).

Fri, August 3: The lab renovation remains as scheduled, August 10. While I appreciate that some of you have a preference, it is not possible to consider changing the schedule this late.

Finally, I have reminded the department that renovations that aren't inside this lab (e.g., on the roof) must not disturb lab wiring. If this occurs, please alert me immediately (but make sure it's the wiring, not just host or router configuration).

Prerequisites:

Passing grade in the diagnostic entrance exam. Passing grades from the Spring 2001 CS558L diagnostic exam will be accepted, subject to the reapplication of the selection policy.
Grade of B+ or better on the following courses:

  • CS402: Operating systems (also see CS402-fall '99)
  • EE 450 (spring 2000)

  • Highly recommended: CS551, CS555 and EE555.
