SGREP 2004 applications are now closed.

For SGREP 2004 there were 52 applicants, of which 4 were offered positions (acceptance ratio of 13:1), which is highly competitive, and similar to previous years. Major factors in the decision include:

• availability (enrolled, entire summer, no funding, no additional classes)
  • this affected 62% of the applicants
• technical background (experienced systems programmer)
  • affected 31% of the applicants

We appreciate that these requirements are very challenging. Because the program is so brief (2.5 months), we regret that we are unable to consider exceptions or exceptional circumstances.
