World's Greatest Cats!

Photos of our cats. Okay, it's true that every cat sees himself or herself as the World's Greatest Cat. It's best if we just let them believe. Who knows, one of them just might be right.

Both cats have names inspired by astronomy and science fiction. Andromeda is named for the galaxy and the ship Andromeda Ascendant in the television series Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. In the show, the avatar of the ship is called "Rommie" for short, we refer to Andromeda as "Romie." Rigel gets his name from the star in Orion and the character Rygel XVI, Dominar of the Hynerian Empire, in the television series Farscape. Both put on regal airs.
