Hello Uncles and Aunts, I have some wonderful news to share with those who may not have heard (I know the Grossmuter information express travels quickly). Garth and I have gotten engaged and are planning to be married in November. Garth took me to our favorite spot in town, also a Davis family favorite, the Broadmoor on Friday evening got one knee of his good slacks muddy and gave me a ring. The ring is very beautiful, the slacks can been washed and of course Garth and I can't wait to start our lives together.
We are very excited and wanted to tell you all as soon as we could so that we would have the best chance of having the whole family here. We both think that it is very important to have our families involved in our lives and are looking forward to having all of you involved in our married life. We, obviously, would love for you all to be here. The wedding should be somewhere in Colorado Springs or the surrounding towns and will be November 2nd. We hope you can be here even if just for the weekend! I think all the uncles and a few of the aunties have had a chance to meet Garth so you know him a little bit and I think you will come to love him quickly. He is a dear, intelligent and exciting man. Of course I am biased but I think you will concur. Thank you for the time you all have spent getting to know him on your visits here. It is a joy to me that he fits in with The Clan. I hope you all are well and we really look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in November. Andrea |
