Ted is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Computer Sciences Department who has worked as a Computer Scientist at the University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute since 1994. His thesis work was in high bandwidth-delay-product congestion control and since coming to ISI he has worked in congestion control, protocol design and performance, active networking, network architecture, and some security work. He gets around.

He is currently working for the GENI Architecture Group and ISI's DETER secure testbed.
