Research
Currently my main focus is on the GENI network architecture group and ISI's DETER security testbed. The focus of both of these is more operational than most of my work in th epast, but, especially on DETER I'm trying to focus on the reserach problems in these groups.
In DETER I'm supervising a student who is modifying the LinuxBIOS support some Trusted Computing style assurance that nodes in DETER have not been compromised. The work seeks to both provide an assurance that the host has not been corrupted to the extent possible without special hardware and to extend that assurance into a secure exchange with the DETER infrastructure.
In addition, I continue to find time to work on research in XCP and congestion control as time permits.
