  • B.S. in Computer Science, University of Southern California, 2004.

Research Interests

Computational workflows, scientific computing, high-performance and parallel computing, distributed computing, grid/cloud computing.

Projects

This is a list of some of the projects I have worked on at USC.

  • mpidag, a tool for running DAG-structured scientific workflows as MPI jobs on HPC clusters.
  • Wrangler, a tool for deploying complex, distributed applications on infrastructure clouds such as Amazon EC2
  • Corral, a tool for provisioning resources on the grid using Condor glideins (pilot jobs) that can be used to improve the performance of scientific workflows
  • Pegasus, a set of tools for mapping scientific workflows onto distributed resources on the Grid
  • CyberShake, a large-scale workflow application developed by SCEC for seismic hazard analysis
