Jonathan May

Hello there. This is a text-positive environment, in the style of Prabhakar Ragde's Web space. I, however, make no image promises. For example, this is roughly what I look like. Sometimes I wish I could make a web page like Hal's. While I'm at it I should mention that I really like Andreas's quote.

I've been working on my CV.

It's never too soon to start working on your submissions for NAACL HLT 2010 in Los Angeles! For those unfamiliar with the area, perhaps this video will be of interest.

I was recently told that students tend to take on the style of their advisors. I have no idea what was meant by this.

This guy has it all figured out. Some day I hope to create a Joint Dependency Language Model, or maybe the May Tagger.

Seminar

The seminar page can be found here. It is maintained by Sujith Ravi; email him at if you'd like to give a talk!

Other Stuff (badly out of date)

Once upon a time I went to Iceland and France .(Site design by Brian)

When I lived in Boston I went to Italy(but Marco took the pictures back then.)

Marco also took a lot of these pictures of Olympic National Park, but as I haven't had time to make a proper viewing gallery and these are the hi-res images, only a select few may be interested in them.
