Call for papers
The drive towards multi-core systems is being led by technology
advances such as increasing chip densities and lower design costs
of replicated functionality as compared to today's increasingly
complex high-end microprocessors. As multi-core systems are already
being sold and deployed, the goal of this workshop is to provide a
forum to discuss what software tools -- from operating systems and
virtual machines on up to programming models -- must be developed to make
effective use of the computational power of these new architectures.
The format of the workshop will be a full day, with a set of invited
talks, presentations selected from the submissions, and a panel
discussion or posters to complete the schedule.
