Weiwei Chen


 I am a Phd candidate and Research Assistant working as a member of the Pegasus Team with Dr. Deelman as my advisor.

 My research interest focus on optimizing workflow performance on Grid and Cloud platforms.

 Here are a few topics I'm working on:

 1. Workflow Partitioning and Clustering

 2. Policy based Data Placement Services

 3. Cloud provisioning

 4. Workflow Scheduling

 At Tsinghua, I worked with Prof. Junwei Cao on LIGO project with special interest in adaptive query processing. Before that, I was a member of Tsinghua Hephaestus Humanoid Team and worked on decision and cooperation between multi-agents.

 Before joining USC, I worked briefly at China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd, which is a provider of conditional access systems to the digital television market.
