I am interested in designing microelectronics with exploring the optimization on both hardware IC/VLSI and signal processing algorithms. There is still a huge margin between IC design engineer and system design engineer. Applications are wireless communication system, biomedical implantable IC/VLSI, and customer electronics, etc.
Currently I am working in ISI on the mixed-signal system-on-a-chip (MS SoC) design for USC Biomimetic Microelectronic Systems (BMES) ERC. Projects include Ultra low-power CMOS ADC/DAC and Charge Metering Stimulation Amplifier, and VICAT SoC.
I have done class projects on CMOS Amplifiers, Phase Lock Loops, 32-bit CLA Adder, and Pipeline CPU with Floating Point Unit.
