I majored in Computer Engineering and then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Bilkent University. My masters work focused on Computer Animations and development of various 3D modeling tools. After my masters, I moved on to physics and completed my Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics at Bilkent University under the supervision of Bilal Tanatar. During my Ph.D., I have done some theoretical work along with numerical simulations but focused specifically on Quantum Monte Carlo simulations. Right now, I am working with Itay Hen on Quantum Monte Carlo simulations and Quantum Computing as a Postdoc.
