Dr. Dong In David Kang is a Computer Scientist of the USC Information Sciences Institute. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College park and his M.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He received his M.E. and B.S. from Seoul National University in Korea.

Dr. Kang's research interests include high-performance cloud computing, real-time systems, hardware emulation, performance/power optimization of parallel systems and storage systems, system software for space computing and embedded systems.
