Ganesh is currently a computer scientist at USC's Information Sciences Institute. He received his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras. He has rich industry experience working for Cisco and Dell EMC. He has more than 20 issued patents and another 7 in various stages in Indian and US patent offices.

My interest lies at the intersection of High speed networks and Computing. Specifically interested in exploring mechanisms that address cross layer concerns such as security and power.

Recent research focuses on

1. Identify encrypted applications
   1. using machine learning
   2. using in-band and out-of-band information leaked
2. Protecting resource constrained devices from security attacks
3. Proposed a non-linear optimization solver based on formal language to explore and identify power efficient architectures from a large search space
