Ninareh Mehrabi received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Southern California. She is currently a PhD candidate at University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute. Her research is on developing trustworthy AI systems with an emphasis on algorithmic fairness in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
My research focuses on building trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems that are fair, interpretable, and robust. This includes but is not limited to auditing different systems, proposing solutions to make current models more fair and robust against intentional or unintentional threats and finally proposing methods to make AI systems be explainable while maintaining other characteristics of a trustworthy system.
