The Summit will bring together more than 400 participants -- representing academic, commercial, and government interests -- to view the state of the art from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. This is a unique opportunity for you to reach a pre-selected clientele of serious MT customers and users from all parts of the world. Many of the attendees will be representing companies and institutions that are looking to incorporate translation software into their working environment or even make MT part of their mission. We know this because of the sizable turnout of serious shoppers at the AMTA regional conference in Montreal last October. The exhibits offer these prospective MT users an opportunity to view and test the full gamut of products available. Given the current level of activity in the field (and the pleasant site that has been chosen for the conference!), a record turnout is expected.
The exhibit area and the meeting rooms will be located together in an area reserved for the exclusive use of the Summit. Refreshments, special events, and balconies overlooking the bay will provide additional enticement to draw the attendees to the exhibit area. In addition, exhibitors will have the opportunity to present theater-style demonstrations as part of the regular conference program. A two-page summary of their demonstration and a half-page summary of their exhibit will be published in the conference proceedings. As a new feature, the conference registration form includes a box for participants to check if they would like to schedule meetings with software exhibitors during the event. You will be given the list of registrants who have checked this box well in advance. In addition, we can provide you with fliers to mail out to your customers and, upon request, passes to the exhibit area.
The fee for an assigned 8' x 10' booth is:
Member AMTA, AAMT, EAMT: US$ 500.00
Non-member: US$ 650.00
The fee covers a standard 8' x 10' pipe-and-drape booth, a 7" x 44" identification sign, a 6' draped table, 2 chairs, and an electrical hookup upon request. There are only 27 booth spaces available. It is our policy to allocate spaces on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to respond quickly. Full payment must be remitted by August 1 if you wish your exhibit to be included in the program and proceedings.
