The Postel Center for Experimental Networking (PCEN)
Supports the Internet Community through research and development projects, hosting visiting scholars and students in the spirit and in honor of the life-long accomplishments of Dr. Jonathan B. Postel, Internet Pioneer.
- Dedicated laboratory space for experiments in networking.
- Visiting Research Scholar positions that enable on-site participation from industry, academia, or government.
- Graduate Student Fellowship positions awarded to outstanding graduate students, who work with the center resources and visitors.
- Student research positions, which enable select USC undergraduate and graduate students to participate in center research
Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies (CiSoft)
The Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies is a joint University of Southern California and Chevron Center of Excellence for Research and Academic Training. Established in December 2003, CiSoft includes the participation of research scientists from the Viterbi School of Engineering and Chevron.
