ns-2.1b3 installation

Hi,
I am trying to install ns-2.1b3 from its pieces on Solaris 2.5.1.
I installed:
tcl/tk 8.0
otcl-1.0a2
tclcl-1.0b6
perl 5
dmalloc -3.2.1
nam -1.0a5
I used gnu make v. 3.76.1 and gcc v.2.8.1.
Everything installed successfully without one error. Unfortunately the
validation tests fail.
If somebody installed it successfully on Solaris, what version of gmake
and gcc did you use? Also what was the version of the pieces?
