The main documentation is regularly updated? How often?

I've been using a copy dated September 12th 1997 for the last few
months, since:

http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/ns/ns-documentation.html

clearly states:

'this document very nearly describes ns as of the 2.0 release (10
September 1997).'

Every so often I'd read that and check no further... and I've just
downloaded a fresh copy from the server to discover that those docs
are now at July 10th 1998, and 25 pages bigger as well.

Those of us outside the US aren't going to attempt large downloads
without reason; with anonymous ftp we could at least check timestamps
before downloading, but without that I've been relying on your
webpages for version information. My mistake to be misled by your
webpage...

Announcing updates of the docs to these mailing lists would IMO be
very useful for ns users.

Cheers,

L.
