That's because it's not actually mentioned on the nam FAQ page,
surprisingly enough, although it's certainly the most frequent nam
question. (Please add a note there, guys. Or update the all-in-one
package.) 

Since you're using ns all-in-one, you should look for the notes
concerning all-in-one:
