NAM release 1.0a6




Nam-1.0a6 has been released.  Instructions for getting and building nam
are at <http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/nam>. The previous release
is 1.0a5.

 
WHAT'S NAM?
- ----------

Nam is a Tcl/TK based animation tool for viewing network simulation traces
and real world packet traces. It supports topology layout, packet level
animation, and various data inspection tools.

Nam began at LBL. It has evolved substantially over the past few years.
The nam development effort is now an ongoing collaboration with the VINT
project.
 
 
WHAT'S NEW IN 1.0a6?
- ------------------
- Preliminary mobility support (under active development) 
- Node lable support 
- Support for simplex links 
- Various bug fixes.  

Nam-1.0a6 for windows(32bit) binary release is available from
<http://www-mash.cs.berkeley.edu/nam>
and requires TclCL-1.0b7 (also available there),
Tcl/TK 8.0p2 and otcl-1.0a3
