regarding tcp
Dear sir:
I am using ns to do tcp sack simulation. I was always confused by some
parameters in tcpagent or some dervied. Is the sequence number in unit of
bytes or in unit of tcp segment? Is the window size in unit of bytes? The
last_ack_ is the maximum sequence number continously received or the next
byte expected? The right edge of a sack block is the last bytes of this
block or the next byte expected? Pls give me a clear answer. Thanks a lot.
