FQ in ns

Following up on some mail sent to this list a few weeks ago, it was noted
that the Fair Queueing implementation in ns was not working.  I have fixed
the problem.  You can download the working code in the ns daily snapshot.
A validation test for the FQ implementation is included in 
tcl/test/test-suite-schedule.tcl.  In addition, you can take Mark Greis'
example2.tcl from his tutorial, replace SFQ with FQ, and now run the
script successfully (the original mail to this list noted in particular
that this was not working properly).  I'll update the documentation
appropriately in the near future.

Subject: FQ not working


I tried the example 2 from Greis's tutorial web pages. He uses
SFQ on one of the links. When I change the queue type to FQ.
ns exit without any message, returns code 1 and simulations is incomplete.
Any idea why this problem occurs, do I have to set up some parameters
or something.
