Installation Problems with NAM

Hello Everyone:

I have just installed the all-in-one version for the
SUN Sparc station.

I changed the path and library path in my .cshrc file.
The compilation went alright more-or-less.
I ran the ./validate in the ns-2 directory
and it seems to function well. The final output was

"validate overall report: all tests passed"

I was instructed by the install script in the main
directory to compile seperately:

                    nam-1
                    xgraph
                    gt-itm

Fine. So I started with with nam-1 file

                first I typed

                      ./configure

              and the makefile was created.
Then I typed "make" and received this
              monster

Any insight would greatly be appreciated.
